You gotta go back a few years, 2013, but Healdsburg used to have the 7% Solution, a very similar gathering of local winemakers making not Cabernet or Zin. I think it lasted a few years. Many of the wineries are still around.
That’s such a great reference. I hadn’t come across the 7% Solution. It’s interesting how similar the intent feels… even down to the styles. Makes it seem less like a new idea, and more like something that’s been slowly taking shape over time.
